Family & Friends of Sarasota National Cemetery has supported the Wreaths Across America Mission for the last 12 years. This year, our goal is to raise funds to sponsor 18,000 veterans wreaths for our heroes at Sarasota National Cemetery. 100% of funds raised go to the Wreaths Across America mission for Sarasota and our mission statement is to:
*Remember: Keep the memory of deceased U.S. veterans alive by saying their names aloud during wreath-laying ceremonies.
*Honor: Acknowledge the sacrifices and service of active-duty military members and their families.
*Teach: Educate children and young adults about the cost of freedom and the legacy of American veterans.
