McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre now offers Kids Comedy Camp every summer! Exciting and fun comedy
workshops designed to help kids discover their comedic potential. Check back for details
posted seasonally.
The classes are designed to be fun and full of laughter while at the same time teaching
valuable performance skills. Group participation and teamwork are stressed in each activity
and every child will come away from the experience with a better understanding of how to release
their creative potential.
The program is designed to teach each child how to find the humor in their lives and how to
translate that to the stage. Improvisation and creative writing games are used to discover the
appropriate use of comedy in any type of situation while building self esteem.
